WOUNDS: Long term effects
If a person is hit by any "kill" result and survives, make a ENDURANCE
task roll modified *dowm* by the number of shock points taken. Mishaps
are work out as for a *hazardous* task. If the result is a:
DIFFICULT sucess (10+)
Damage heals as normal, and there are no long term effects.
ROUTINE sucess (6-9)
The last shock point takes longer to heal - to regain it is a task:
R-ENDURANCE, 3 weeks absolute.
SIMPLE sucess (2-5)
The last 2-3 shock points take longer to heal - to regain each one of them is a
task: R-ENDURANCE, 3 weeks absolute. Only one point can be rolled for at a time.
FAIL (no mishap)
One randomly selected physical stat is reduced by 4, with follow on
effects onto other stats being taken into account. Also treat as a
SIMPLE sucess.
FAIL (superficial mishap)
Randomly select two physical stats and reduce them by 4, with follow on
effects onto other stats being taken into account. The same stat may be
chosen twice. Also treat as a SIMPLE sucess.
FAIL (minor mishap)
Randomly select three physical stats and reduce them by 4, with follow
on effects onto other stats being taken into account. The same stat may
be chosen multiple times. Also treat as a SIMPLE sucess.
FAIL (major mishap)
Randomly select any five stats, and reduce them by 4, with follow on effects
onto other stats being taken into account. The same stat may be chosen multiple
times. Also treat as a SIMPLE sucess.
FAIL (total) Death.
