Rule Modifications
1)No Draft
2)Increase energy cost for lasers to make missiles more desirable. Each laser
fired per round reduces the power available from the power-plant by one class -
hence acceleration and jump are affected.
3)Gunners can remote control missiles - add their skill levels to the to-hit
roll
4)Award EXP~2 per session. The cost to buy a skill level from N-1 to N is
2+2^n, and there is a cost of 1 EXP to buy a zero level skill (skill-0) costs
1EXP, to buy skill-1 costs 4EXP, skill-2 costs 6EXP. The time taken to
increase a skill by one level is a year for levels 0-2, and 2 years for levels
3+
5)Starting Skills
@18 years, 16EXP, plus 4 per year over 18.
6)Skill level equivalents
0= secondary, 0 years
1= some tertiary, 1-2 years
2= Tertiary major, 3 years
3= Masters/honours, 5 years
4= Doctorate, 7 years
