My IRC nickname

On IRC I usually use the nickname 'haberman'. It comes from a science fiction story written by Cordwainer Smith entitled "Scanners live in vain". If you want to know any more you'll have to go and read it.

Usually I am connected to IRC when I'm doing something else, so I'm not always paying attention. At the moment I'm not in IRC as much as I used to be, so if you want to talk to me there, I suggest Monday and Tuesday afternoons (UK time) which is when I'm most likely to be there.
