The truth is I'm not very gothic at all. I just can't be bothered with all that makeup and hair dye and jewellery and stuff. I can't even be bothered to put a cool black background on these web pages (actually, I lie, because I have now). I'm a minimalist-goth. But not so minimalist that I stay indoors all the time - I do go out to goth clubs and bands, so when get time, I'll add to my gig/band "reviews". Or make my section on pillars longer. These days I live in London, so I mostly go out to Malice or Tenebrae at Gossips, or to wherever bands happen to be playing.

The best way to recognise me is by the fact that when I go out I'm mostly: (a) by myself, (b) not talking to anybody, (c) drinking vodka, and finally (d) wearing a wing-collar dress shirt (possibly). But remember, if you come up to talk to me (for whatever bizarre reason you might have for wanting to), at least two of the above criteria will no longer match, so no-one else will be able to recognize me. This may or may not be a good thing.
