The Bloodloop Beautiful

(Brisbane, Australia; 1994?)

Folk rock like the Australians can do best. An quasi-acoustic set in a cafe. Which reminds me, I always regret that I missed the Black-eyed Susans when the played at UQ -- I was busy working on my PhD, and forgot.

Depeche Mode

(Brisbane, Australia; March 1994)

Dull dull dull. Well, ok, not dull, more like mildly entertaining.

Veruca Salt/Marion/..

(Leadmill; Sheffield, UK; 14 January 1995)

Err...

Marc Almond

(Leadmill; Sheffield, UK; 19 May 1995)

A bit of a disappointment, but entertaining nonetheless.

Young Gods

(Manchester Union, UK; 6 June 1995)

A great gig, well worth the long trek from Sheffeild, but a little spoilt for me by the the unfamiliar surroundings and the need to rush away through a rather dodgy-looking area of Manchester and catch the last train back to Sheffield. At least I got the train to myself.
