Neutrons

A neutron is an elementary-particle similar to a proton, but it has no electric-charge. In fact quantum-mechanics tells us that a neutron can behave like either a particle or a wave. Which ever of the two it is behaving like, it always has a real mass of 1.6749 x 10^{-27} kg. They are fermions with a quantum spin of 1/2.

Neutrons are hadrons and are made up of quarks. The are affected mainly by the strong-force.
